MP's Broncos Update

Former NFL Commissioner Pete Rozelle convinced "all the league's owners to adopt revenue sharing, arguably the most successful form of socialism in U.S. history. The reason the NFL is so dominant is because the NFL is basically Marxist. This was Rozelle's greatest coup, and everybody knows it. But you'd never guess that from watching the NFL Network. Marxism is not a talking point." -Chuck Klosterman

Regarding McDaniels/Profanity-gate: I don't think the guy should have apologized for anything. He didn't say anything unreasonable in the circumstances; in fact he didn't say anything that I haven't said at my job (which is moderately comparable). I think he apologized because he is a caring parent, which is a good thing, but I hope he doesn't change his ways. I like his fieriness.

"Hurray! Hurray!" yelled the happy little Bronco Gnomes

The Bronco gnomes have informed me that they can't remember such a rollicking good victory. They were a little peeved about the third quarter and considered causing a little mayhem, but in light of the overwhelming victory they voted for a moratorium on gnome-rampages through the bye week. "Hurray for the Broncos!" they shouted repeatedly during our meeting. Bronco gnomes, I salute you.

In other news, the Bronco gnomes wanted me to tell all the faithful readers to get out and vote tomorrow. Specifically they wanted me to tell you all to vote yes on C and D. Who knew Bronco gnomes were so civic minded? So, and please remember that this advice comes from the Bronco gnomes and not me, please get out and vote yes on C and D tomorrow. The Bronco gnomes will thank you (and so will your children should you decide to raise them in Colorado).

MP-
I have never been a fan of cinnamon gum but you have forever changed my mind on that. I know that the Bronco gnomes have a lot to be happy about right now but I fear the day I run into them after a loss. Thanks for the warning so that we may all be better prepared.

I *heart* those civic minded little gnomes... Please remind people, too, little gnomes, that if they are registered in a county with a mail-in ballot (Jefferson and Boulder and Arapahoe come to mind) they can drop their Yes on C & D ballots off at their county clerk's office today. If they voted no on C & D, they can't drop off their ballots and instead should use them for kindling.
